1968/69 Supporter complaint letter regarding City's new Black & Red away shirt that Mr G.Toothill, of Crumpsall was not best pleased to see but unfortunately for him the club never met his request, but I admire his style back in 1968 !!!

My family went round to a wealthy friend's to watch it. That final was the first programme I ever saw in colour.

I miss black and white teles. Pot Black was never the same in colour. Half the fun was guessing what colour they were going for.

Colour TVs were so rare around that time that one of the first bought in the area made the front page of the local paper, the Sale Guardian!My family went round to a wealthy friend's to watch it. That final was the first programme I ever saw in colour.
