1976 League Cup Final Pictures

The following home game, Sheffield United, DT scored what I remember to be another overhead kick at the NS Kippax side of the goal.

Was a long long time ago.....
I was at this game. Sorry I cannot confirm another Tueart overhead kick (yes it was a long time ago) but I do remember a 4-0 win and a parade of the Cup after the match. 47 years ago. Unbelievable. Where does time go?

Was the bottom one the souvenir LP( radio commentary?) recording of the final?
I was lucky enough to be at the match and I'm pretty sure my parents bought me it for my next birthday. Over the next few years it would have been on the old record player a few times !
Did anyone have video recorders in those days to record the match? Can't remember anyone I know having one. It may also have been possible to buy a copy of the final on film to put on one of those projector things?
From memory, I think Tueart's iconic overhead kick was on the opening credits of The Big Match the following season, so at least we were able to watch that goal again a few times.
Have I actually imagined all the above? anyone remember any of these 'facts,'?
We didn’t have one till 1979. Thanks to good old DER! As you say at the time it was a rare thing I. Fact the video shop only had three or four films to hire ! I kid you not …

Wish I had a photo of the Blue Peter style, 3 handled plantpot I converted into the LC with tin foil , waving it at blues on the way down. ..lol...

I was 12 at the time, great day. Made up for getting beat 2 years earlier.
went with dad and grandad from birchfields bus depot. For £2 I think it was at the time, coach fare there, meat pie and a can of beer, went for a Christmas dinner at Watford supporters club after game and stayed till early hours. Great memories. Thought the Newcastle fans were class.
