He's a lot more than "solid". He's an absolute physical monster and a nightmare for any left sided attacker.I think by his own admission, he is never going to be the most talented player but he is a solid player and I’m glad we have him.

Good point. As much as people praise Stones and McGuire, I actually think his versatility is the reason why that back 3 worked for England. Replace him with another normal CB there, it not going to work equally as good.
