2 | Kyle Walker - 2024/25

Not really. The one who can fuck off in that incident is Walker. He embarrassed himself and the club with that. Nothing to do with the rag.

Grow up.

He posted a snide instragram post after the game aimed at Walker.

I'll choose to stick up for the City player, thanks.

I understand that Ray but its incredibly that we havent unearthed a right back over the last few years
Pedro Porro, Yan Couto, Frimpong, Issa Kabore
All on our books at some stage and should have provided competition to Walker.
They would have initally struggled if they stayed. At times it is better to move away and develop that way. Phil Foden is the benchmark but that didn't happen overnight and we did have plenty of attacking players who could help develop his game.

With only a few days to go to the start of this season, we sent Couto off on loan with an option to buy and in the last hour of the transfer window we loaned out Kabore.
They may not have been good enough but at least they'd have beefed up the squad and provided cover.
Unfortunately Walkers mind has gone.
A great servant to the club but that headbutting stuff was ridiculous

He was the best, now he’s not. He wouldn’t be playing if we had options. That’s the top and bottom of it.

He’s almost certainly distracted by his private life and his form has gone through the floor. I don’t think he was worse than anyone else today though.

However, he’s the captain of our club and did that on the pitch. As good a player he has been for us he’s making it very clear that he’s a fucking idiot.

It is a big ask in expecting them to make the step up straightaway and Couto was decent for a relegated side but wouldn't have added much even in our current state. He has hardly played for Benfica.

We aren't going like Kyle Walker's antics but that is part and parcel of the detestable side of football and there isn't a single club who will not try (or hasn't tried) that to gain an advantage. I am cutting him a little slack because we don't have any alternatives for season and he has been part of our monumental achievements since 2017. We aren't going pluck out another RB from thin air.

You may well be right but in our last few games we are being ran ragged by younger players who have speed and stamina.
The best utd players were their youngsters .
I wouldn't advise buying Kabore or Couto if they weren't our players but they were part of our squad which was depleted.

We could easily destroyed their careers as well if they stuck around. Especially with the individual errors we are making. The current situation with Rico Lewis is a recent example. We couldn't have taken him out of the starting line up until our injuries had cleared up.
