I agree that the obvious immediate solution is Akanji (although he had a nightmare today) or Stones (when he’s fit).

Akanji lost his brain somewhere in the summer and Stones has probably forgot what a football looks like. We’re pretty much fucked at RB. Lewis is doing well considering the circumstances, but he needs a hand.

I felt sorry for Walker today. I don’t really ever feel sorry for footballers as they’ve got money coming out their arse, but he’s been a player that played with so much pride, largely due to being faster than any player on the planet. But you can see he’s mentally fucked. He can’t even do the basics right and it causes insecurity for the whole team and the fans. It would be best for all parties for him to earn a fuck load in Saudi for a couple of years.

Losing pace is one thing, losing all motivation is quite another and he just seems to be getting worse with each game. Maybe we are getting a new right back after all, what other reasons does he have for simply not caring anymore

Kyle has been so underacted by us fans in my opinion. He's just never been totally adored like some players. I always stuck up for him no matter what BUT lately he has been the first one walking off the pitch and totally not acknowledging the fans that stay after the whistle unlike players like Haaland. If he doesn't want to be here than just leave.

He’s never had the respect the likes of Kompany, Fernandinho, David Silva, Zabaleta etc had, because he hasn’t earned it.

Being a club legend takes more than just being good at football. You need to be a role model and a strong leader in all aspects of your life.

Walker is a moron and a shit, weak excuse of a man who just happens to have been good at football.

I appreciate his contributions on the pitch over the years but I have no respect for him whatsoever on a human level.

I’m not sure about that. Traore is probably the fastest player I’ve seen with the ball at his feet but I would love to see Walker from 2019 up against Traore in a race. Certainly the fastest defender from this past generation.
