Gvardiols initial clearance for the first was pathetic
At least get it out for a throw
Then he was out jumped for the header from the cross that came in
I'd describe it as a toe poke away from danger rather than a clearance, but walker has to deal with it. What's he leaving it for? Agree Gvardiol lost his man for the cross, but the cross shouldn't be coming in to begin with.

Mistakes happen and you forgive them when you learn from them and when it's clear they're giving their all, but he isn't learning and it is evident he isn't giving it his all.

I hate his lack of ability to cross a ball. He continually gets in the kev spot at the corner of the 18 and either takes a touch before trying to cross, to kill any forwards movement, or just passes it back. Lewis is also a main culprit of this.
At the risk of defending Walker, he isn't in the team to cross the ball. Our wingers can't cross the ball either so not sure why our defenders would be criticised for this.

He's there to stop them coming in, and he isn't doing that.

Always shit going forward but you take that because the rest of the team are smashing goals in and he's there for the cover with his pace. He's not got that anymore so in all seriousness, what is he doing?

Play anyone else there. It literally can't be any worse

Don't want to be critical of him and he has given his all and been an integral part of a legendary team for a number of years and gained far more success that I and I am sure he could have imagined and he will go in the summer with my best wishes.

Fair. But at least try it every now and then.

This was always going to happen to Kyle if we kept him too long. Should have let him go after the treble when Bayern were interested. Thought it was very unlike Pep to persuade him to stay. The best most successful fullback the club has had in the last 50 years I've been watching them, but like a couple of others, he's tarnishing his legacy with every game.

There was a moment in the first half where did his trademark " I will allow you a head start because I'm Kyle Walker and I will catch up to you"

Honestly, the fact that he still does this drives me absolutely fucking nuts.

It was entertaining back in his physical prime but it's completely fucking stupid now. He's been getting done by wingers time and again and has refused to make any adaptions whatsoever to his game.

Brain dead.

Not seen much football this season so can’t comment on his form but the state of these comments. Been the best right back in the country and possibly the world the last few years. Age has possibly caught up with him but been a magnificent signing who has given us all these trophies and memories.

Thanks Kyle.
You’re lucky not to have witnessed his decline which is there to see…….pity he didn’t move last season when Bayern offered good money for him ……..unfortunately tarnished his legacy

Shouldn’t be so high up the pitch either…..when an attack breaks down he’s way out of position without the speed to get back and defend

Classic example of what is wrong like most of the others, held onto for too long now slow and fuked
others being
Stones fucked
Ake fucked
Gundo too long
Nunes, Kova, Lewis Jack Doku not good enough
Gvardiol concentration for defending poor
Kev still great but needs young legs around him

If he's not there to cross the ball. what's he doing in those ideal positions to cross?

Totally agree. It's like he has a phobia to hitting a moving ball.
Never understand why he positions himself where he does only to kill the momentum
