Despicable stuff. But does anyone really think these are certainly City fans? :(

Strikes me like losers trying to find an excuse to sully City in general. Either way, despicable.

That said, I still hold the same view on this issue I've always held, it's high time we (black people) stop giving power to mere words. I've said it before and I'd say it again, I don't give a rats ass if someone calls me the N-word. I give it the same reverence as I do someone calling me an asshole or a ****. I

It is in the end just an attempt by a lowlife to rile me up. I for the life of me don't get why highly successful black athletes buy into this.

I'd say that you'd be very much in the minority there fella. I imagine that if I walked up to a group of black lads who are chatting away, and said, "yo; how are my ******s doing?", my next stop would be the A&E department in the local hospital.

Most likely.

It's been steadily getting more and more vicious online.

Pushed on by so called City fan channels and aggregators.

Even City Xtra, which I like, must share some of the blame due to the abuse they encourage towards him.
It's out of control now. All started from AFTV, 'fans' being negative just for content, gaining popularity from it.

Now we are in the shit and these fans are doing the same thing, thankfully you still have people like FG and Steven that haven't gone down that route.

Shameful from the aggregators to have been pushing that agenda, no surprise it has now escalated further from dickheads online.

I don't really understand how fans can turn on one of their own when he's been so successful? His form has dropped off a cliff, then again, as an onlooker, so has the whole team. I'm sure he will be gone at the end of the season and hopefully he'll get a big send off that he deserves. Superb replacement for Zabaletta (sp)

As someone said previously, some of the messages on this forum are pretty nasty too. It seems its like that all over the place, randomly calling posters and players fuckers and cunts. They're no better than the abusers on other social media.

I don’t know how to articulate this without provoking a negative response, but my manager at work has been the same person for over 14 years.

He’s a great guy. I’ve spoken to my wife about him loads but she only met him two years ago.

The next day she said I never knew he was black, coloured, person of colour or whatever I can say these days. He’s Jamaican.

To me he’s a brilliant bloke and I never notice anything other than that.

The world would be a better place if we didn’t label everyone!

Fuck City Xtra.

You would think for a City fan account they would do more to filter out negative posts/articles on City, but they post them all the same for the sake of engagement. Just encourages attacks on our club and players.

I imagine as soon as you said "Yo" you'd be sparked.
