He barely warmed up pre game, not even sure he did.

During warm up before he came on he just stood there and watched the game. Clearly unmotivated right now and meant to be our captain.

You do start to wonder how much of a negative effect having such a poor captain has had on us. We've really looked like we've lacked leadership at times, and you should obviously expect some of that to come from your captain, yet he's been absolutely nowhere.

The results seem to have affected his performances and leadership. Passing up the armband when he came on was not really a surprise.

We do but we won't do that unless walker himself accepts it's over. This is pure speculation on my part, could very easily be entirely false but I get the impression he's not someone who will willingly accept things he doesn't want to hear or face.

I reckon he probably still thinks he's capable of being the champions right back. Out of respect, we aren't going to look to dump him, it has to be a mutual thing and if he still thinks he's upto it, that isn't going to happen.

Believing the above to be true, the solution is we sign a centre back this windkw and then we can move akanji/stones out there or possibly the new centreback if he is adaptable.

Maybe even Walker knows it was a total embarrassment that he ever had it in the first place.

Apparently, he has offered it but Kyle hasn't accepted it.
It's not something that I had noticed to be honest.

Yeah, theres definitely at least some kind of lack of consistency in arm band policy during play;)

Walker is in tough place, obviously. Looks like perfect storm for him with arguably all kind of problems across professional and personal life.

But i believe hes gonna be better, even slightly. Divorce looks on card anyway, but hes a specialist for some games when on form. At the end of the day, Walkers contribution to the success been incredible.

Kyle has been so underacted by us fans in my opinion. He's just never been totally adored like some players. I always stuck up for him no matter what BUT lately he has been the first one walking off the pitch and totally not acknowledging the fans that stay after the whistle unlike players like Haaland. If he doesn't want to be here than just leave.
