I seem to recall a few season ago in one of the games against PSG, Mbappe fed up of being unbale to get the better of Kyle, simply decided to fuck off to the other side of the pitch to escape him.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but has anyone seen Kevin Parker's tweets? That's one person who will be happy to see the back of him!

For me, I agree with most of what's been said. He's been a huge part of our success under Pep and the best right-back in our history. Father Time catches up with every player so I'm not as annoyed as some fans about his poor form this season. A move abroad is a sensible decision as no league is as intense as the PL.

Surely this episode should be a lesson that our captain should be selected more carefully? And if it's a case of "we let the players themselves decide and that's that" then maybe we need to rethink this policy?

He was the worst possible captain at the worst possible time. There's numerous factors that have contributed to our collapse this season, but Kyle as a player has been a major one, and his complete anonymity as captain can only have contributed too

The best right back and full back we’ve ever had and the best right back in PL history in my view. Absolutely instrumental to our success and key to us keeping out Vinicius Jnr and Mbappe at times.

Never saw him as a captain though. Our last captains had been Kompany, Silva, Fernandinho and Gundogan. All of these are model pros on the pitch AND off the pitch. Kyle consistently set a poor example with his behaviour which involved flashing his cock to strangers at a bar. He also seemed to shrink and go missing at a time we most needed a leader which was disappointing. In light of this, I dare say that him leaving will lead to an improved atmosphere in the camp similar to how when Cancello left a couple of years ago.

I wish him well because of his outstanding contribution but it’s most certainly time for him to leave and as soon as possible.

Iv said before that I wish him well but the only thing that dosent sit well is leaving us now with a patched up back 4.

It’s only a few months until the summer.

I still stand by my original view on the player but as a person who is causing pep and the team issues, well I am not happy that he couldn’t keep it together until the summer.
