Saw that Redmond a couple of times In particular in the euro tie and he looked quality for 17 years old. Not for a first team place but definitely different to what we have. As an impact sub to change a game. Not sure he is a Mancini type though
 
Think a winger who can play anywhere in a front 3 is what Mancini is looking for next (to replace Tevez).

That Redmond guy sounds promising. He was looking at Cerci in the last window. AJ ist he only but we need a pacy winger in some situations and games.
 
I think 4-4-2 would suit us for certain games against teams like west brom and give players like silva a rest.

If we signed a pacy left winger it would enable us to play like this -

Hart
Richards Kompany Lescott Clichy

Johnson Milner Barry New winger

Dzeko Aguero

So has the attacking play so far not been up to scratch?
 
Yeah that Redmond is meant to be pretty rated. How much would they want for him? Is he too old now to be classed as homegrown if we had him from jan until his 21st?

If Mancini is going in for a winger it would have to be a young lad with potential that doesn't mind settling for less in terms of appearances early on.
 
If we get a winger, Lavezzi or Redmond would do it for me. I can only hope Redmond is in that Walcott mould where he has the ability to beat his man and has pace. Johnson is great but I have this feeling Liverpool will make a move for him sooner rather than later.
