2 nil and we go through

Like it or not we currently don't have the personnel in Europe to just play two central midfield players. We have to go with three in the middle for the second leg. Personally I would go with Frank, Yaya and Ferny with Silva and Navas supporting and Sergio up top. With the pace of Navas we could possibly look to hit them on the counter more so than with Nasri plus I think he is more defensively disciplined at the moment than Nasri. IMO it would be suicide to start with two up front even though we need to score twice at the very least. If we can nick a 1-0 lead with 30 minutes to go then we can bring on the likes of Bony, Nasri and Edin to look for the second

The possibility of successfully navigating a 2-0 is approximately 3,720 to 1

3-1 or 3-2 AET is more likely than 2-0

Don't honestly think we can stop them scoring for ninety minutes, and on their own turf. Our defence just isn't good enough this year. But we're definitely capable of getting two back, if Sergio, Yaya, Merlin and Nasri are on fire. At 2-1 anything is possible. The absolute key is to stop them scoring early, though, and certainly stop them scoring before we do.

I said "if Hart keeps this out, this is our tie". I'm going to stand by that prediction. I don't see why we can't have one of our days against them.

Tbh as bad as the possession stats may have looked last night, I thought outside that horror spell in the first half that was brought on by their scoring a very fortunate goal, we caused them a lot of problems and created quite a few chances. Obviously we're outsiders with the bookies to go through but I'm feeling quite confident, I have a feeling that Barca threw everything they had at us last night and we're still alive and kicking, I feel we'll go through if we find even an 8/10 performance in the Nou Camp.

2-3 and call it a night while Alves throws another tantrum.

On to face Real in the next round ;)

No point our supporter's going there with a down and out mentality. We all play our part as much as the players.

Wouldn't it be great to see us go there and beat them 2-0??
If we do, I'm making a £100 donation to Joe Harts charity.
