spot on
not even looked at or mentioned by $ky-mutv
the biased bastards
FA should review it retrospectively and ban Rooney but of course the usual rules don't apply to $ky's preferred cash cow that funds their lavish lifestyles
This all day, there was a moment when 5 or 6 players within about 20 seconds or so slid in full stretch with the legs, ball bobbled away both city and united players just got up and got on with it.Caveman said:They weren't that bad. It was a derby and there should be tackles like that - and Zaba's on Young - flying in. Young petulantly threw the ball at Zabs, Zaba purposely went and hurt him; that's what happens in sports like rugby, I'd like it to come back in football too. Wellbeck and Barry's challenge was good to see and although Rooney's was a bit dodgy, he rightly got booked.
This is a sport played by men, but the game has become so sanitised and supporters so whiney about shit that derby day tackles have almost been eradicated. That should never have happened. Thirty years ago - if there were Internet forums - this thread wouldn't exist.
Fuck it. There were meaty challenges going in all the time and nobody was sent off and we won; a perfect derby. I'd like football to be more like last night, please and everyone from players to fans to grow some balls and enjoy stuff like that.
