Stopping the clock is a good idea but the rest is tinkering for no good reason imo

Some people on here comment without reading what is proposed. 30 minutes a half with the clock stopping when the ball is 'dead'. A great ideas. We might actu ally get to see some football vein played instead of wasting time. We all get to see the clock and we know exactly how much time is left and there might even be some urgency towards the end of a game. For once some of the other ideas make sense as well.

If referees applied the Laws correctly re time wasting from the first second the game starts then there would be no need to fuck about with the basics of the game at all. We fiddle and fiddle to cover up administrative and organisational shortcomings. It's risible.

I've not watched that,i do think video reffering penalties,goals and red cards should come in before the clock thing

I've said this for years, but I think some of the people involved with governing the game of football would sooner cut off their dicks than copy something from another sport. How long has cricket, rugby, tennis and a whole host of sports had video reffing? How long has FICKFUFA been procrastinating and coming up with the most ridiculous of excuses for not doing it?

I`ve been saying for years that only the Captain should be able to talk to the ref and that injuries are treated without stoppage to the game,unless its in the middle of the penalty area.

Totally agree mate, rugby league is a fast moving game and none of the common sense rules slow the game down at all, infact showing the replays on the big screen in the stadium that go to the video ref add extra excitement, has me screaming at the tv anyway haha

Would be delighted if this actually happens. If I could only change one thing in football it would be this. So many teams come to the etihad and waste time from the first minute, nothing is ever done about it. Drives me mad that something that is essentially cheating is, for some reason, viewed as being an accepted and almost legitimate tactic. So easy to fix and personally I can hardly see a negative to ball in play timing.
