Why is it hard to keep the best of our academy players ?

We have the best academy/ facilities
Paid well
and we have the best manager in the world waiting to develop them.

It’s a business/production line to make money and unfortunately what’s sad is that the sooner the majority of these players get out the better! Foden is the exception and the benchmark, also questionable as to whether or not he will be a consistent starter beyond the coronavirus era... most of these kids called up to the first team wouldn’t have had a sniff if it wasn’t for the pandemic.

Missing from the clubs missing list of new scholars is the highly rated Leojo Davidson who has signed for his hometown club .... Sheffield Wednesday !!
