Watching the game a second time with a cooler head I think he had a good game. He has a bit of a thankless role in the team but his closing down really helped us win possession back whenever they got hold of the ball. Especially the second half.

He basically did the Jesus role, just with more emphasis on midfield rather than attack. It's one of those things that people appreciate when we win, and really don't like when we don't!

Poor first half but what a transformation in the second half , all the team stepped up a gear including Bernardo , he must have covered every blade of grass.

The amount of times he left the ball for Mahrez when he could have received the pass himself shows he lacks confidence in his finishing. If he can add that to his game he will be unstoppable.

He is a team player,we play better with him in the side.

He is the unsung hero of this CL team. His work rate is obvious and known, but the ball control, the killing of tense moments in tight situations, his ability to find a pass....the list goes on.

Most underrated City player in the team.

Without Bernardo - we would have done nothing this season.

He was vital during the system reconstruction in November, was vital during that winning streak with his initial goal against Aston Villa and following assists against Everton and etc. and etc. and is still vital because he is the only guy in the team who controls the tempo..
