He’s probably my favourite player at City.

He’s a proper unsung hero! He does so much work that goes unnoticed. You even see comments in the match day threads on here saying “Bernardo’s been quiet, not done much” only to see that he’s broken records for ground covered in a game, so how do we expect the wider football audience to take notice?

He’s the most selfless footballer I think I’ve ever seen. He puts in performances for the benefit of the team to ridiculous levels. At Dortmund he covered over 12k metres and only touched the ball 41 times. He was everywhere! but barely involved in the game. Everything he did was for the benefit of team play.

He’s the antithesis to players like Paul “look at me” Pogba.

Is he Ok ?

I really really hope - Pep isn't planning to play without him in the final..

Made me laugh watching them after the game today. Him, Mendy, Mahrez and Cancelo were being daft as fuck in the celebrations, legging each other up etc. Mendy was swinging him round by his leg at one point, which seemed a bit risky given the game ahead on Saturday!

Pretty much this.

When Bernardo starts, I'm always very confident we're going to get a result because I know with him on the pitch, we're never going to be out-worked. He can do absolutely everything; he's brilliant supporting Mahrez going forward and he's brilliant at supporting Rodri/Fern and Walker when defending. In the 4 years he's been here I bet nobody has played as many games as him.

Alongside Kev he's my favourite player too.

He's gonna start alongside Dinho and Gundogan in the midfield.

That combination completely controls and dominates the midfield of Chelsea.

Kevin dropping deep as well makes it impossible to sotp that control, Chelsea beat us twice this season, but never with those midfielders together.

Foden and Mahrez will need to step up to bring the goals, and hopefully Gundogan can turn on the Mr. Whippy Truck one last time before the season ends.
