As soon as Pep substituted Cancelo with Zinchenko and he moved to his RCM position - was a much better player than in the first half, when he had to play LCM, because of Cancelo occupying RCM..

I think the diagnose is clear -> Play him RCM and you have world class midfielder.

But then there is Debruyne as well.. :D tough choice, but at least we know what's the problem and why Bernardo is always regaining his best form when Debruyne is injured..
 
Back to his best and we'll need him Sunday. One of the best work-rates in the squad which makes him so important in this game.

They'll probably have it out for him too, after his amazing shithousery in the guard of honour (forever a legend for that alone).

That incident in fact made me consider anointing him Bertnardo Silva.
 
He's one of my very favourite City players. What a fantastic personality, he's truly a Pep player.
 
Bernardo is a little bit like Iniesta in that he isn't very productive but makes the team better. And comes up with some crucial goals too. Remarkably, Bernardo has scored more goals in big games away from home since 2018 than any other City player including Sergio. Top player.
