Problem for me Mike is that he and Foden give us much needed legs and if he leaves we need to find not only a talented player but one with the same dynamism. I Have read somewhere that City want in the region of 70 million euros. This in my opinion is crazy, he is worth a least double what we coughed up for him 4 years ago. We really are shit at getting the right fee for our players. To replace Bernie would cost us a lot more than what we want for him.We are going to have to find someone with the work rate and retention ability to take his place. Our team always play better with him in it.

I definitely wouldn’t be happy with 70 million euros for Silva. You say he’s not a regular but he played two matches fewer than Gundo and one more than KDB. We need to play hardball with any club that wants our players, stop rolling over and having our tummies tickled.
