He belonged on the bench last season as he was mediocre. No getting away from that.

Handing places for free just breeds complacency. He has to deserve it, then its win win for everyone.

This is what worries me.
City should put him and the other two into isolation for at least 4 days on their return.
Symptoms may not show for few days, and testing before that period of isolation is over could well come back a false negative.
Better to be safe, than infect the rest of the squad!

But Pep says he believes we will see a different Bernardo during 2020/21.
“Last season he was injured for some minutes and he did not reach the level of previous seasons, but it happens.

“If there is one player I have no doubts about it is Bernardo.
“But he didn’t have time to refresh, he was exhausted and his mind was exhausted. He struggled with this.

Doesn't matter which position it is, you have to find a place for Bernardo in the team.

He's just too good to not play.
