What if, what if Ake is better in DM and Rodri is better in CB? hmmm.

I thought Rodri's game at cb was one of his best for City tbh.

That & his finishing. Someone on here suggested we may use Aké as a defensive left back & then Cancelo as an attacking right back & I could picture that, with Bernardo also playing on that side linking up & also helping him defend. The two play well together for Portugal & he brings Cancelo to life.

If we get the 2018 Bernardo back, we are right up there with anyone. Remember he carried us to the extent that we barely missed KDB. Incredible to think, but true.

Agreed, behind Sterling and KDB he's our next most valuable player, he will be crucial to our success in campaigns this season.

Dont think he was ever tested as a CB in a back 4 but he probably could, I believe Pep has moulded defensive midfielders into CBs before.

If we try a back 3, something like this 3142 to me seems very plausible:

We could, if Dias was injured. But I recon he is already our best cb, so we won't be dropping him.

Laporte for me, understands the league better, lets give Dias sometime first.

Bernardo in midfield 18/19 was incredible. Has to be a starter there along side KDB. His Work rate is a mist especially if we’ve got the wardrobe Rodri behind him
