Glimpses of his old self today, with excellent runs and passes. However it was his work rate which outshone everyone.
 
More like his usual self today, Pep says he's been struggling with mental fatigue so that would explain a lot.

100% agreed. Needs a steady run of games now.
 
You could tell he has it back from his first touch. total confidence and some sublime first time lay offs. The one where ederson pinged it at him and he chested it to Ake then followed up for the return pass was class.

hes a cross between Paul Dickov and David Silva.
 
Was excellent today. What he now needs is a run of games in the same role, his versatility has been to his own downfall last season, you can’t find form and consistency when you’re asked to play in a different position and perform a different role every week. Should be looking at a more regular central role now which can only do him good.
