Tbh i thought he was MoM, superb. He's always full of running, but last season he lost that purposeful running that he had the season before and it was mostly a bit chaotic. Early days, but this as much better and his moving between the lines was great.

He needs some end product. His energy helps us and is nice to see but sometimes as already mentioned I think it‘s a bit chaotic.

Personally think a bit of chaotic energy has been sorely needed in this team at times.

We've been too slow and controlled in our play at times and it's been detriment to the midfield as a result.

We need a runner in midfield in the absence of Fernandinho and Bernardo is perfect for it - have him slightly ahead of Rodri, but behind Kev and let the latter loose in an advanced role providing that end product.

I'm probably in the minority here but I'd love to see him back on the right. Don't get me wrong, he was good against Arsenal and in other games where he's played in the middle but I still think he's at his best out wide and I'd love to see more linkup with Cancelo.

He got his CM position back.

TBF, I think his CM position is a bit of a myth. I don't think he played there (much) for Monaco and he hasn't done for us.

I don't think we have enough evidence to know that his best position is in the middle but I'd like to see him have a long run there.

I think Foden should mostly be used in a wide position for now; until we move him to DM.

That is his strongest position for me. Cutting in and scoring goals. I’m still bit torn on whether he is a central midfield player. Personally if Foden was actually supposed to be Silva’s replacement, I’d rather see him and De Bruyne in the middle and Bernado and Sterling out wide and Mahrez sat on the bench.

I think our current best line up would see both Foden and Mahrez drop out with Aguero up top and Silva and Sterling on the wings ahead of De Bruyne, Rodri and Fernandinho. I’d also prefer to see Foden more from the middle as I don’t think he’s having as much impact out wide as he would in there.

True but Fodens workrate and willingness is currently worth that sacrifice,he helps with the press brilliantly,

i will stick my neck out here , if we get the Bernardo back from 18 months ago , we will win the league it will be like signing one of the best midfielders in the world , there you go , ive jinxed it.
