We brought in some of our best players when Pep wasn't here - Kun, Yaya, Silva, Dzeko these guys were all stars when they came here, lets not make it seem like the success of the club is down to Pep.

None of those players were as big as Yaya when he came here, he had just won the ucl and la liga with barca, Tevez was another big name that played in the ucl finals and also won the pl before coming here, Dzeko won the Bundesliga about 2 years ago before coming here and this all happened back when Pep wasn't even on our radar.

Obscene cash? Now you are just being silly. Kun was an absolute bargain and so was Yaya. 25m for a proven UCL winner? Some of our best deals happened when the Catalans weren't here. The City project was and always would be an attractive offer and THAT was why those players came here.
