First half he was completely anonymous as the false-9. He grew into the game immeasurably once he moved back into that RCM role after De Bruyne left the fray

It was the same kind of performance as Cancelo’s.

He was everywhere, and brilliant up until the last thing he did, which was invariably the wrong option or poor execution... until the top corner rocket !
