He's part of the reason Gundogan and Cancelo have the freedom to push higher, because Bernardo drops often for them, you can see him in Cancelo's RB position on many occassions.Bernardo is quietly having one of his best spells for us. Even when he was having a poor run he never hid, never shirked his work for the team - I love him and he is a huge part of our 16 game winning run - no coincidence we have got better and better with him in our midfield.

I'm definitely happy with his overall play as you are, I think once he can increase his goal/assist ratio a little higher (even though I know he plays a bit deeper), he becomes something very special.
Bernardo and Cancelo are a joy to watch down that right side. When Bernardo is in the team, I feel less nervous, gives us safety.Honestly feels like him, Rodri and Cancelo are just quietly putting in 8/10 performances every week for the past month or two. Just getting all the unheralded work done and making the platform for the team to succeed. All 3 of them are so slick with their first touch in midfield, effortlessly keeping it or popping it around the corner when under pressure. When you compare it to opposition who's midfield need two of three touches that we don't let them have, it's night and day
Bang on,he's integral to our play and a player you can always rely on.Bernardo is quietly having one of his best spells for us.
