I've said it elsewhere on here.

Bernardo Silva is too good for City. He would walk into any team on the planet and, if playing in Spain would probably stroll away with the Ballon D'or.

He's been overplayed by Pep for ages and should/deserves to have regular short breaks to recharge his batteries. Same goes for KDB.

IMO, Bernardo is the only City player who is still genuinely World class, and is the one who really makes us tick.

I can see him walking if we don't strengthen the squad seriously this summer.
What do you mean too good for City? He’s at one of the best clubs in the world playing for a manager most players want to play for. He’s perfectly suited playing for City.

Yeah, he’d get further recognition, but he isn’t too good for City. That’s just a weird way of putting it.
I'm thinking from his perspective. He's the best player at the club, but the club isn't quite at the level needed for him to be recognised as a world star.

It's a similar situation to the likes of Modric, Bale, and Ronaldo, who were never regarded as big stars until they landed at RM.

I've said it for years; as much as we don't like to hear it, we'll never be as big as RM as a club. It's the club every player dreams of playing for. That's why Haaland will almost certainly end up there in the future.

Bernardo Silva is more than good enough to play for RM in my opinion. He'd achieve more there as an individual than he would at City. And he'd be doing it in warm weather, closer to his homeland.

That's why he's too good for City.

Agreed, If he was playing in Spain or Italy at the level he does for us, he WOULD be a world star.

Playing for us he is viewed as a work horse with good skill levels, which is insulting to one of the finest and hard working players seen in the Premier league.

City are regularly ranked as the best club in Europe. How the fuck can he be ‘too good’ for us. I might accept too good for the media in the U.K., better suited to playing in Spain but not ‘too good‘ for the club we support.
