Good news that Bernardo feels settled at City. He has been one of our standout players.

His form dipped after the racism allegations towards his friend Ben Mendy. It may be unrelated but his return to form appears to coincide with police charges against Mendy.

It may be wrong to speculate and I am not in any way linking Bernardo to the Mendy accusations but it is easy to forget how a players relationships and personal life can impact on their game. You only have to look at John Stones.
