Are you just posting that mate or did you write it?
Whichever, its brilliant and perfectly captures what very many of us feel about Bernie.

He's not first choice for us when everyone's healthy but he's the most versatile player on the team who can legit cover 4+ positions in case of injury. In that regard he's irreplaceable. I'm glad he's staying for this season. Work rate, ball retention, quality!
While we don't have a 'first choice' as such,i get your thinking that others will probably be chosen by Pep ahead of him. That doesnt detract from the fact he can be as influential as anyone and he will be in consideration for every starting 11.

He is a wonderful talent and our team is enhanced by his ability, his energy, his character, and his presence. We will miss his input and presence greatly should he ever decide its time to leave,i think for many it will be a case of 'you dont know what you got till its gone'

Lets hope that doesnt happen any time soon.

I'm not sure how he's getting in the team when Foden and KDB are back and Grealish settles in.

There's always going to be rotation, obviously, but in terms of getting enough starts for him to want to stay, I don't see it happening unless KDB has a serious injury.

------------Eddie
Walker--Stones-Dias-Zinchenko
-------------Rodri--------------
---------KDB--Bernie--------
Jesus------Foden-------Grealish

FWIW....i think thats our 'best' 11.

Although it will probably change next week ;-)

If you want those 11 on the pitch I think you have to organise it

Rodri
Bernardo - Grealish
Jesus - KDB -Foden

Bernardo + KDB as the two no.8s has never worked well.

Yeah,would probably work better.

I think Pep just says 'go and play football' though!
