Bernardo seems to have finally fitted effectively into the team beside KDB, filling a niche as a hybrid box-to-box/left attacking midfielder who sometimes drops into a double pivot with Rodri. Such an incredibly versatile footballer.

If Sterling goes, we may actually see Bernardo on the right wing for a few games. He was a joy to watch coming off that side in 18/19. At times, it felt like we had our very own Messi.

I hope this never happens, finally whole fucking world has understood that he is a midfielder and delivers his best football while operating there.. Yep, unfortunately club wasted 5 years, but finally we have arrived and there are no questions left..

If there is opportunity - Palmer or Alvarez or Foden should get the time, cause they are more of a wingers or can play decent football as a wingers..

Bernardo is one of our best players and every minute he gets - he should play the position - he is the best at.. Otherwise he should get well-earned rest and not fucked around as a False9 or RW or LW - where he plays below average or average football...

Think he is not being wasted, for first few season he need to learn our playstyle so it's understandable he will not be given immediately his prefered position in his debut season.

Being Midfielder is pretty crucial in our system and no one gets in here easily because very high standards from Pep even for someone like Bernardo at his first season.
