In all honesty, between the 3 of Gundogan, Bernie and Kovacic.

I think atleast 2 of them need to go (maybe 3?) soon.

Gundogan is obviously out.

And between Bernie and Kova, atleast Bernie is a better option as the 8 going into the 10 position, while Kova is more of a deeper 6/8.

But with Rodri, and probably 2 new defensive midfielders coming, there really isnt a point to him imo.

Bernie can alleviate the likely loss/sell of KdB.

Keep him in the middle. I don't think he has the legs to play as a winger anymore. Keep him where we can still play to his strengths.

That said, we are playing him way too much at the moment. Man's running on empty.

My MOTM today, and not just because he got a foot on the goal.

Controlled the middle of the park for us and is the ultimate pressure relief valve. Then, later on, he moved wide and still was full of running.

His pace on the ball is a steady 6/10, but his brain is a steady 8.5-9/10. Love the guy and think he’s every manager’s dream, but time and tide wait for no man…

But I am not sure the club will see the issues in this way.

Out of these three Bernie is the most likely candidate to be able to get an offer from Europe mainstream clubs - France Spain Italy etc. Kova might get something from Turkey and Saudi. I doubt Gundo can get any offer. And it was reported his +1 clause will be auto triggered with the amount of the games he is projected to play. I don't think Pep will force Gundo out without an offer he likes.

We may end up with old Gundo only. And God knows how much I love him in the good old days.

Absolutely shit. Pulling out of tackles and just watched that cross for the first goal and showed no intent to try and cut it out. When he has the ball he has no intention of doing anything remotely positive and slows absolutely everything down.
