he probably starts 7-8 of our last 10 league games, FA cup too and then CWC too. then he has a like a month off and arrives to PL start with no effective pre season. I think best to sell him as he will be one year older and physically worn out by this schedule. not like he will be able to recharge batteries all summer.

He doesn't seem motivated to play well, after a treble season we should sell him. He looks reckless and physically unprepared in certain situations.

Unfortunately finished and like gundogan and de bruyne should be moved on in the summer.

Problem is grealish, nunes, Lewis and possibly ederson could and should all leave so it’s likely Bernardo will stay.

I'd definitely keep Nunes over him. Can't believe I just typed that but It's true!

I think both need to go but I'd drive Nunes to Antarctica if it meant he leaves before anyone else. Never was, never has been and never will be good enough for city.

Bernie has just come to the end physically it seems, his impact is close to zero but he's not the only one at the moment.

Pains me to say it but truly awful . It's like he's been paid by the other team to stop us creating chances .

Bernardo has been a great player for us, and key to our success. The game has changed, and he has not. He is increasingly marked by two highly athletic players and he has the ball nicked from him far more often than ever. He has, possibly as a consequence, become more conservative in his play and is holding possession for too long. I believe it to be the end of his era, but we should celebrate what a player he has been.

I think you are mistaken about Nunes, but critique of him is not for the Bernardo thread, nor the Rico Lewis thread, for that matter.

If anyone thinks Pep will let Silva go if he is happy to stay your kidding yourself! He will be playing 40+ games next season no doubt

A negative whenever on the pitch. His most 'positive attribute' at this moment is his availability. But then again, probably none of us here are professional footballers, but we're available to play for us too, so hardly a positive in itself...wouldn't be so hard to get into our current midfield either way.

Proper teacher's pet, which has served us well until two years ago. But his steady decline has unsurprisingly coincided with ours. He has to leave in the summer.

I think there’s a few players that have been told to find another club and they e downed tools and he’s definitely one of them

He just needs to play in the middle, Pep constantly shifting him to RW is getting borderline criminal.

We got to remember that we cannot let all the older players go at once - we are going to have to keep a few to add the experience into the team when it is required.

Not sure if Bernie will be one of those, it remains to be seen. But as long as we get our recruitment sorted this summer then having a few of the players who have done it all to have around wont hurt to come on sporadically through the course of the season
