Really concerned he's going to play every minute of every game, and by the end of next season if it doesn't go well is going to be pretty hated by the fanbase, a la walker. Its a real shame to see legends get ran into the ground like this. It's not even their fault, its peps fault

How many of those players were MIA for 2 years? Previous to that (when playing well and wanted elsewhere) Bernie wanted to leave every summer. Oddly enough, he’s become far more committed to the club when he’s been churning out shite most weeks for 2 seasons. Funny that.

Nobody doubts what Bernie has done at the club overall, but rewarding him with the captaincy at this point of his City career is a ludicrous decision, it’s up there with giving it to Walker.

Bernardo is one of our most underrated players, together with Gundogan and Rodri.

Things have changed somewhat regarding Rodri, but the other two being treated like uncs is pathetic.

In terms of performances in big, big games Bernardo is up there with any legend of the club (again, big games only, especially CL).

None of the older legends, that is prior to Kevin, has been that good in decisive games vs teams like Real and Bayern or that productive at Anfield and Old Trafford. Very lucky to have him.
