This would explain why I seemed to be reading the same posts over and over earlier.

We've had a few requests in the past to increase the number of posts per page, but have put it off for various reasons. Have decided to now go ahead with it, as very few forums still have 10 posts per page. It felt a bit archaic and in need of updating tbh.

There will probably be a few teething problems with broken links etc, and please bear with us whilst we tweak layout/ad positions etc, but hopefully it will make for a smoother browsing experience for you.

You've always had adverts whether logged in or not unless you take up the ad-free paid option.

On a PC I've got the page zoomed to 175% which pushes the side ads to the bottom of the page, Ric still gets the revenue, I get to not see them. The space bar sees off the top and (now) middle ones quickly. Win win.

It was bound to happen. With the mods mostly being rags they see the 20 post pages on the caf and get envious - we can now hold our heads high, this is as good as having the widest pitch/tallest floodlights.

Because pages now have 20 rather than 10 posts. So to keep the forum running, the ads need to be doubled as the ad revenue halved.

You can always subscribe for a few quid a month which is actually MUCH MUCH more supportive of the forum than just clicking ads.

I did try it briefly on the phone earlier, it seemed fine excepting that the ads were slow to appear, didn't seem to affect the speed though. This was through WiFi though, mobile data may be another thing.

Edit: be grateful anyway, if it was down to me it would most definitely be 115 posts per page which would have broken many devices :)

Not the speed, just way too many adverts (which I understand when there's to be less pages) and it all looks far too busy
