CB - Kompany has not signed extension and even if he does, it probably would be good idea to replace Otamendi with younger CB, as he is 31, so we would have to replace him in couple of years anyway, so why not now, while he still has some value. He might want to leave to play more anyway.

LB - We can't take risk on Mendy's fitness again. Need to cover our ass here and sign LB.

DM - Needed one for about 2 years

AM - Gundogan will most likely leave so need replacement.

Though Pep also should buy new RB as he clearly doesn't trust Danilo to rotate with Walker regularly. No point in keeping Danilo to play the odd match.
