2020/21 David Silva watch - Real Sociedad.

Notice that all the bookings are in the last few minutes of the games. Silva used to tire a lot after the sixty minute mark for us due to him being heavily involved in most of the play during the game, he quite often got substituted around 65-70 minutes, these are probably the result of tired mistimed tackles.

I think he started giving out what he was receiving - three fouls in every challenge before he got a free kick. He makes one tackle and it's a booking. Compare his yellow card tally to the number The Ginger Pig received in his playing days, and then compare the 'fouls' that delivered the cards! Every game has a slightly different set of the LotG, and every team has a different threshold. Fernandes on a yellow at Goodison and commits three more fouls that, had he not already been on one, would have delivered a second. Selective refereeing which can't be classed as anything but fuckin' cheating.
