I thought as much at the time, even with the polls and some posters on here saying Biden people were hopeful on Florida and Texas.

Trump looks like gonna win North Carolina and Georgia.

If he also wins Pennsylvania, they are all places just 24 hours ago they said Trump was second best.

Penn and Michigan I would not expect to know until midday UK.

Trump's team isn't convinced on Georgia. Did you not see the late swing with postal votes and urban areas in Virginia?

Trump was always likely to lead several states before the early votes were counted, it had been discussed at very great length on this very thread for weeks in any situation other than a landslide (8 points plus).

I think Biden, at this point in time, is ahead 2-1 with 20 minutes to go.

Don't do it to yourself mate, Trump has already outperformed the predictors.

Both men could get over the 270 hump with Penn but Trump is likely gonna be up with Georgia (not seen latest) , Michigan and North Carolina.

Penn still has 3m votes to count, virtually all in urban Phili and mail in ballots (all would favour Biden). It's not a shoo in for Trump at all.

I'm exactly the same as ever - you and a lot of this forum have changed. You've gone mental surrounding Trump. You used to be on team rational, where you'd ignore the mindless screeching and overreaction by the morons and look at things with a critical eye. That is not the case now, you're as partisan as you can possibly be and have fell into the bullshit traps that the overly emotional screeches always fall into with slippery slope fallacies and presumptions of evil and guilt as starting places.
Not because of what you believe, I have no issue with beliefs obviousky, but how that belief shades your ability to communicate. On most things, your opinion is decided by the characters involved rather than the events and thats the same bullshit we posted against for years. Its Punch and Judy politics.

And another thing - you ask why I "defend Trump". I dont defend Trump. In fact I almost never actually talk about Trump. What I do is point out when other people are making bad points or cherrypicking or just saying the most ridiculous shit. This is what I do in a lot of threads and what you used to do aswell.

But thats not enough now for you and the rest. Any form of dissent from the position that Trump is literally the worst thing ever means that you're secretly a Nazi or something. And that's bollocks, is always bollocks and will always be bollocks.

What happened is that you joined the zealots and now share the same problems that all the zealots have about purity of opinion.

I've stayed detached and at least attempted to continue to point out the shitposts, exaggeration, half truths and outright lies when they occur. And obviously as a forum inhabited exclusively by anti-Trump rather than anti-Biden zealots then thats where the majority of posts land. If the forum were filled with Trunp supporters or QAnon weirdos ir whatever then I'd be doing exactly the same thing. The only difference us that you'd be doing it too.

You're right in the sense that Georgia looked nailed on for Trump all night.

Latest stats however place Biden as favourite. New York Times place Biden's chances in Georgia at over 60%. All the votes are in Atlanta and the suburbs of Atlanta and are early postal votes which he's expected to overturn the defecit.

I did mate, but it's all about the country pockets now.

Wisconsin was supposed to be in the bag for Biden but he's flipped just one county after 78 per cent in.

They are saying Milwaukee County is his last hope there.

You know Trump has one foot over the line when the MSNBC commentators are now discussing how unfair it is because Biden will win the popular vote.
