Thought I'd back up Malcolm X's view on the 'White Liberal' with Dr King Jr's view on the same subject matter.

Wow, that could be written about the 2020 Black electorate who have been sold the Dem trick of 'Republican talking points' when it comes to questioning what the Dems do for the Black and working class communities.

Gee, if I'm being told that I "talk shit" and being put on 'ignore', then I wonder what our local 'liberated' posters would make of Dr King and Malcolm X if they were around today?

Ironic that they're 'championed' in passing, eh?

If these two were alive today there'd be marches and strikes because of 'incrementalism' when great strides should already happened.

As I've said, you think you're helping...

Always hard to place historical figures on a modern political landscape. Malcolm X died before ever getting the vote, so how he would react to the chance to vote a Black Woman in as Vice President is hard to gauge. Then again I am 100% sure, having recently finished Malcolm X's autobiography again, that if he were alive in 2020 he would be completely opposed to the piece of shit in the White House who has befriended white supremecists and refused to condemn the KKK.

I'm also certain both him and MLK would be absolutely appalled at the incarceration numbers of black men and the private prison system, so would back a candidate who was going to get rid of private federal prisons, end cash bail, and expunge all cannabis prison sentences.

As opposed to Donald Trump who has no such policies, and has actually sued California to try and stop them ending cash bail and has increased use of private prisons drastically through his child internment centres.

I mean the whole attempt to apply X's criticism of 1960's white liberals to 2020 liberals is beyond stupid because they have completely and utterly different beliefs.

By the way Bigga, I cannot wait for you to disappear forever in 10 days time. Finally we will be free from you and your Orange idol.

Tbf, he was an anti-Trump as you or me until Sanders lost the nomination and then all his ire was pointed at the Dems as now his only hope is being proven right on here.

Just be glad you weren’t posting on Biden during the Tara Reade bollocks that he peddled.

LOL!! The sheer stupidity of your comment!

You people are so stupid you don't understand the situation!

Firstly, Malcolm X would be questioning Harris' authenticity to carry the Black cause within her lineage, maybe not her as a person and he would absolutely question her policies of the FORCED incarceration of the Black male beyond his term in order to work for the State. This is fact in her past policy. Dr King would question her jail term policies also.

As for 'befriending White Supremacists' it's so easy to ignore Biden as he's so 'friendly'. From an article I found online...
Joe Biden loves to rattle off the names of dead racist politicians he befriended in the same spirit of nostalgic reverie that a hero of a 19th-century French novel might reminisce about the mistresses he enjoyed as a young man. At a fundraiser on Tuesday, the current front-runner in the Democratic presidential primary cited his warm relationship with the late James O. Eastland and the late Herman Talmadge, both ardent segregationists. “I was in a caucus with James O. Eastland,” Biden told the audience. “He never called me ‘boy,’ he always called me ‘son.’” (Was Biden even aware of the racist code that reserved “boy” for black men and “son” for white ones?). Biden added, “At least there was some civility. But today, you look at the other side and you’re the enemy.”
I remember him saying this too. Ignored, quite handily.

You say you've read about X and Dr King and then laughably say they "would be absolutely appalled at the incarceration numbers of black men and the private prison system, so would back a candidate who was going to get rid of private federal prisons, end cash bail, and expunge all cannabis prison sentences."

This is your attempt at denouncing #45 but actually it ALL applies to Biden.

So, the firestarter is also the firefighter??!! Yet, you give a pass to his past that is STILL blazing!! Hilarious!

And this statement:
"I mean the whole attempt to apply X's criticism of 1960's white liberals to 2020 liberals is beyond stupid because they have completely and utterly different beliefs."

They DIDN'T have "completely and utterly different beliefs" at all. They had different approaches to the same problem, you fool. You read, but absorb nothing about the person! And Dem INCREMENTALISM is what Dr King warned about then and he would certainly be the first in line to lead marches about that now!

I won't be going anywhere in 10 days, so you'll have to put me on 'ignore' like the rest of the other 'well-meaning' liberal tools.

So many words, and nothing said, nothing addressed, nothing answered. Just the same old shite pretending Biden-Harris' policies don't exist and ignoring Trump's actions.

Texas is going blue, it's just a matter of if it's now or in 2/4 years time.
Texas is very interesting: Stats for Texas vote and the full US picture in the last 2 elections.

Obama v McCain 2008 = +12.1% For McCain (overall 52.9% Obama, 45.7% McCain)

Obama v Romney 2012 = +15.8% for Romney (overall 51.1% Obama, 47.2% Romney)

Trump v Clinton 2016 = Trump +9% (overall 46.1% Trump, 48% Hillary)

You would think that Texas would be the kind of place were Trump would do well even allowing for the fact its a solid Red state but he lost ground on the results of McCain and Romney. Given the history you would think it highly unlikely to come down to within 2%. So I still think you have to assume a Trump victory but it will be much closer.
