Trump’s choice of tense and verb form, particularly when speaking off the cuff, had more the taste of sour grapes than champagne. Fascinating times.
Or 2-1 down with five mins to go you mean?
No where near enough far enough ahead with the amount or urban and postal votes to go.False hope in this scenario by the looks of it. Anyone know exactly how far ahead Trump is in the states I mentioned prior to the mail votes being counted?
Is that not true everywhere? I'd say it's true of most people and most if not all countries actually. This does raise the obvious question in that have we been so obsessed about Trump that we've ignored the fact that there's always going to be a huge demographic that will always vote with their wallet, regardless of leader?
The whole reason there is a 2 month lame duck period is because it takes time to count all the votes
Probably the professional gamblers and/or people understanding what is still to be counted lumping on.Biden’s odds are shortening. Was 9/5 and 2/1 a short while ago, depending on the bookie. Now 6/4 and 13/8
Not really, things can swing quite quickly if a district very pro-Biden or pro-Trump gets added in. NC & GA are still not won by Trump yet, even if they eventually are it shows how the increase in postal votes is delaying states being called.False hope in this scenario by the looks of it. Anyone know exactly how far ahead Trump is in the states I mentioned prior to the mail votes being counted?
We need to find out Michigan, Georgia and Wisconsin really. Pennsylvania may not even matterParts of Pennsylvania have announced no more results until morning. So we can all log off for a few hours.
One explanation I've heard (might be bollocks) is that tax cuts for the rich / poor don't have the effect on voting they would here in electoral terms. Essentially poor people in the US see taxing the rich as taking money from them when they in turn become rich, as there is a general belief that at some point they will 'make it'.Regardless of whether this election returns a Trump presidency, Democrats must learn why it was ever close. Not just that the vote went along the lines of education or race, but why.
I think that we know those people exist. We call them Tories over here and there's quite a few of them ;) Whether those people are accurately accounted for in polling though, perhaps not?

I've been extremely critical of TYT of late as they abandoned their principles. Cenk, essentially, even got into Anna's head with the "any Blue will do" shit.Wow.
They are given Biden a slapping over his strategy.
No, he would need one of Georgia, Michigan or Wisconsin as wellIf I have the maths right, Pa alone would win it for Biden. Is that right?
