Da.To Russia?
Da.To Russia?
That's politics in the modern era though. Atlee was possibly the last politician here to change things for the better overall. You could argue that Thatcher also did but that she also made life worse for many as well.
Politicians say one thing one week, then do a complete U-turn the next, as we've seen. But most aren't completely unpredictable, with little or no regard for the truth. It is what it is. One day we might get back to politicians having integrity and being honest, instead of having only self-interest and/or simply toeing the party line, however illogical that may be.
Why get yourself worked up about it? We have to try to do the best we can for ourselves, our families and our communities.
I hope someone has put a wheel clamp on AF1.
Meaning what?
Is this cos you're happy to see this election as a sidestep not progress?
Where is the vomit emoji when you need one?I think his behaviour in the last 48 hours has reduced that prospect. He’s more likely to be seen on top of Trump Tour in a bath chair shouting obscenities - flanked by Rudi Giuliani and Nigel Farage.
GA is a 50% state for Senate.Don’t fully understand senate elections but doesn’t Georgia going blue and the two senate seats there being won by such a tight margin by the Republican incumbents mean that the seats go for election again in January.
Did I pick that up wrong last night?
Okay, I get the point made.
My worry is seeing the US get worse, despite the 'nice man' being in charge. Just because he will obfuscate and withhold data from the public (and he will) doesn't mean he'll be that much better.
Failed policies and promises opened the door for the Orange Gimp and there's no putting the genie back in the bottle now.
The US is coming to a boil and I don't know how they will handle it.
No need, just switch out the retractable staircase for a ramp.I hope someone has put a wheel clamp on AF1.
I respect the post, but I want to ask you a question regarding it.I compiled the below list of all the theories I had thus far seen as to why many Latinx voters may have cast their ballots as they did and posted it yesterday.
Each (or combinations of a few) of these have been posited by various analysts, pundits, scholars, community leaders, politicians, and talking heads I follow. And there will be many more to come, once the data resolves more clearly and composites of pre-elections forecasts/modelling and new ‘exit polling’ are created and refined (which is the process for creating meaningful post-election data with secret ballot elections).
As I said in the below post, I am waiting for better data before deciding which have merit (if any).

And give him an umbrella to hold?No need, just switch out the retractable staircase for a ramp.
Job done.
The GOP haven't won the senate though.
That's the massive hole in that theory. The Democrats will be massive favourites in the 2 Georgia runoffs, and with the Trumps cast out of the Republican party it's very unlikely the Republican's are going to get support for 2 very unpopular candidates in Loeffler and Perdue.
And by January, The democrats promising they will provide economic relief for the average person while coronavirus ravages the country is going to be a lot more of a motivating argument then McConnell asking for the ability to obstruct for 2 years.
But early for revisionist (fanciful) history, don’t you think?!Okay, I get the point made.

I don’t know how they’ll handle it either, and will watch with far more interest after the last 4 years and especially this year.Okay, I get the point made.

I will try and put this as simply as I can.Biden will calm it down
can't imagine the chaos if Trump was given another 4 years! feels like every single day he does something controversial
His members?Moscow Mitch will have to have an iron grip on his members to ensure they stick together!
Well, without refined composite data, I can’t even begin to try answer your question. And even then any analysis (by anyone) is just going to be a highly educated guess. Though, I obviously do think we should try to make ‘good’ guesses.I respect the post, but I want to ask you a question regarding it.
If your data post is true, I'm assuming the same 'socialist' language was held in 2008 and 2012 under Obama and 2016 under Clinton, in Florida, in this instance.
How does Biden lose the same argument with the same tropes used before...?
Is there any truth in the story of something like 27% of the mail in vote in South Florida not having made it through the USPS on time?I respect the post, but I want to ask you a question regarding it.
