This is the problem with our society. There is a significant minority of people who won't change their minds no matter what factual evidence is presented to them. They prefer to find facts or fictions that justify the way they feel on instinct, and consider that to be as valid as critical thinking. Enlightenment values are dying.

All these years later and the Kennedy shooting still troubles me. I don’t think it was investigated properly at the time and the evidence (including the body) was poorly preserved and handled. Pity Oswald was not protected better by the police, we might have had a much clearer picture of the truth.

I doubt it's Cornyn's aim, but he's actually arguing against Trump here, because the Trump administration would want all of those thrown out, like the 300,000 ballots the USPS didn't deliver.
