Whta had been notieable over here in the last could of days is that that normal media outlets have started putting "falsely claims" rather that simply "claims", "says" etc. - its a subtle difference but it should have been reported like this for the past 4 years, as far as I am concered

Any one of Trums numerous acts should have done for him. Trump needs to live in 'the present' - he has to have a daily scandal so people forget and/or move on to the next one. Due to the way he acts, there is no time for political pressure to build on one scandal

It's actually very much part of his strategy and has been since 2016 at least. Say/do something outrageous -- like float a trial balloon -- and suddenly all the attention is focused on "the latest" act of cruelty/stupidity.

It's one of the reasons the nation is so exhausted.

I hope they go back to the fringes...

But I am not confident they will. I think there are more absolutely mad supporters that want to believe in the QAnon world than we are comfortable admitting. I also think there are a large number of Trump cult members that will follow him (literally, depending on how things go) to the depths of hell. Many of the aforementioned own guns — in some case, quite a few.

And, if Biden wins, they are going to buy in to the fraud nonsense and want to take action.

I certainly hope I am wrong in that assessment... but it’s not as if there is much evidence over the last few years or days that points to a different scenario.

They absolutely won't go back to the fringes. Once Trump is gone (I mean dead or imprisoned), I’d guess they'll splinter into a bunch of smaller sects, each with its own leader, because I doubt anyone can galvanize them the way Trump did. Look at how they are already bemoaning being abandoned by the GOP.

I think they’ll only splinter when Trump can no longer “lead” them.

Which could very well be coming soon after his ouster, depending on other factors.

But, as I said, either scenario is very problematic for the US. And I do think they will be realised, unfortunately.

They’re just like Tory voters. Some of them vote because “I’m Alright Jack. Fvck you” and the others do so because they have shitty lives and take pleasure in denying other people things. Just like kid who smashes up your toys because they’re jealous. They’re all cvnts.

Sorry yes you’re right — I added dead or jailed. I’m really not worried about his kids. I don’t think they have it in them to assume his mantle.
