2020 was generally sh*t, but have you any/many highlights ?

Highlight for me was watching all the Geordies going giddy about becoming the richest club in the world when every other supporter knew it was never going to be allowed to happen.

2021 starts well. My car vandalised at 3am today. Done by the same kid who did it 6 times in 2020. On one of his rampages he damaged 20 odd cars, put 6 shop windows out and when the police attempted to arrest him he put one of them in hospital. Went to court for this and given an exclusion order from our town. When the police showed up this morning they told me he had been released from the half way house he was stopping at as there had been an outbreak of covid. Am now thinking of taking law into my own hands.

Got married the day of the first lockdown being announced. Boris announced it during the reception. We made the awful decision to stop elderly family and vulnerable people attending so they were safe. Would like to think it was a good decision in the end as they are all still with us now.

had our honeymoon to Florida cancelled twice, lost a few grand on it, but actually had a few days in Blackpool instead haha. It was actually enjoyable after being locked up for months

We managed to save enough money to move to our dream house. It was never possible but with the money saved working from home, and the refunds for cancellations of holidays we were able to do it. It went from just getting our house valued and then sold the same day it went on the market for a lot more than we expected.

While it’s been a shit year for not seeing friends and family, we are just grateful that everyone I still know and care about are healthy. Best part of the year was my grandparents getting their vaccine a few weeks before Christmas and the us self isolating for 10 days in the run up just so we could have them round on Christmas Day.

Really Hope I don’t have to ever go back into the office. Working from home has worked really well, and seem to have so much more time now without sitting in the traffic twice A day

one Last thing, i used to play football three times a week but stopped about 7 years ago. Started playing regularly when we were allowed and its one thing I look forward to every week. Just an hour of 5 a side a week has Worked wonders for my mental health.
Boris was at your wedding and announced lockdown during the reception? That's some speech

I managed to get in good shape.
I feel better about myself than I have in years, confidence has returned.
My mental health is better than it’s possibly ever been.
I thought that living alone during lockdowns and restrictions would have a negative impact on me but it’s made me an even better person at being able to deal with problems.
I re-learnt how to ride a bike.
I became a better cook.
I had time to sort out my music collection.
I was able to afford to start to assemble a new wardrobe after losing weight (still a way to go) due to the fact I wasn’t going to the football and on the piss twice a week.
The pandemic has weeded out and made it clear who the cunts are so know who to and who not to spend my time with post-covid.
Music has been great this year with loads of decent new albums and new bands coming out.
City won the EFL Cup.
City won at the CAS.
