I don’t have Twitter, but have plenty of Blues given this ignorant arsehole abuse?

Is he really such a dumb **** he thinks teams’ revenue all comes from a few thousand fans sitting inside the ground?

And that’s before disregarding the usual bollocks about ‘not filling our stadium’? I must have imagined over 50,000 people in there then, who’d have thought it.

Maybe he’s just bitter because he looks like a pug.

You’d have thought so, but rational thought goes out of the window when the club you picked to support as it was the best chance of you having bragging rights with throughout your life becomes shit and overtaken by your tiny, noisy neighbour.

They don’t see it like that and realise the time frame of how long City have been winning trophies. They think it’s still the 90s and all the money is diverted towards the rags bank account. If you were a sponsor who would you want to be associated with at the moment? United who become a weekly laughing stock depending on who’s beating them or the team that’s just win the treble, has the best manager in the world and has probably the most marketable player and a generational goal scoring talent in Erling Haaland? They don’t live in reality and exist in a world where they think United are still the top team. It’s been a decade since they’ve been that and I wouldn’t be surprised if another ten years goes by without a proper title challenge from them.

I'm fairly sure the club have a long list of projects lined up, and have looked into investing in any projects showing a positive NPV.

They aren't mugs, it's a business and should be ran like one.

I sent a Rag a link to the story about our accounts and surprise surprise he bit!
Explained that most money comes from sponsors and broadcasters and asked if these companies would prefer to pay to be associated with a winning club competing with and beating the likes of Bayern and Real in Europe's elite competition or yesterday's club getting dicked by Sevilla on a Thursday night.
