But this delusion is very common.

Lots of people still believe 'Boris' was a great leader, when he was a compulsive liar and fantasist. It's human nature to believe what you want in favour of your 'side'. Otherwise, you have to admit you were wrong, which takes guts.
 
City’s record breaking financial results are absolute gold for these social media pages such as Give Me Sport, Sports Bible even Match of the day and their socials. Post the results on there and watch the pile on by the amateur finance experts delivering their verdict of ‘we all know City are guilty’ ‘what about the 115 charges’. It’s rage porn for rag and dipper fans up and down the country for them to apportion blame on the treble winners for their clubs shortcomings and how they believe they should have some easy ride back to the top by bouncing City into the Northern Premier league.

I’ve seen a few pages posting about Chelsea on some of these social media pages and their predicament which looks ten times worse than what City have alleged to have done. It’s full of the same people talking about City. These are desperate people who have lost their enjoyment of football because City crushed their team in red, 115 charges is their comfort blanket.

Why is no one asking the question why the Premier League taking so long and not proceeding with any hearing? Surely if they can charge City they have all the evidence for the independent panel to review to come to the conclusion that the charges are correct. Why can’t they move forward in a timely manner? Why have they sat on this investigation for three years and then hastily rushed out charges and then nothing but a peep since? Why have they included the Mancini contract with a club in Abu Dhabi in the charges when Uefa knew about it and didn’t go down that avenue in 2020? Why have they also gone after image rights of players which once again Uefa knew about?

It’s a desperate attempt to smear the club and even if this is thrown out, Dave the rag from Basingstoke will keep trotting out ‘we all know City are guilty’ as it’s his last crumb of comfort as to why his team is now shit.

The narcissistic, magnanimity merchant's will be telling us "respect for a footballing man", but I for one won't forget what an utter c#nt he's been about our club and to some employees of it.
 
Dipper media headline "City post record income but no one believes it " they really are hurting , for a start our broadcast income was £300m and we made a profit of £122m in the transfer market , the ony difference with our owners is that every penny is ploughed back into the football club , our hard earned gate money does not line the pockets of our owner and hedgefunds , red 'istree fans are mugs.
 
I find it amusing that people think the latest figures are bent.

Given the scrutiny this club has been under, how can anyone believe they would leave an open goal for the PL/UEFA to seize upon? My guess is these accounts are as pure as it is possible to be.

I look forward to the day when the other 19 PL clubs have their books gone through with a fine-tooth comb. I wouldn't mind a small bet that Arsenal, United and Liverpool are not 100% kosher in all respects.

He was nothing but a bully and wouldn’t give a door a bang in acknowledging that the other team (whoever they were) deserved the win when utd got beat.

I think it was after the 4-1 win under Keegan that he more or less accused us of bribing the ref. His comment was something along the lines of “the referee got his hospitality before the game”. It was a while back, so it could have been another derby win.

They were hoovering up most of the silverware to be won and still he couldn’t - or rather, wouldn’t, give credit where it was due.

Horrible man who took delight in ridiculing our club - so glad he’s around to see his predictions about our future come back and bite him.

And it is because of the narcissistic magnanimity merchants that I will stay on the concourse, so they can’t point out any obvious disrespect.

A bit like when beIN Sports were showing a City match last season when the cretin known as Beglin, actually live on air called it The Emptihad to the millions watching. What a plank.
