Have the home nations got any referees at this competition, or are our top referees still not up to the required standard?

They only weren’t involved when we used VAR differently and Clattenberg retired suddenly.

There should have been a mini domestic cup competition while the World Cup is on for all the PL players not on international duty. It would have been quite competitive as the bigger teams will have more players away on duty.
The top twelve would qualify automatically, while the bottom eight play-off for a place in the round of 16.
