The enjoyment is lost with Qatar getting the tournament in the first place, regardless of the rest of your post.So if it was in a cooler, none Muslim country, you’d enjoy it more?
Not sure why that’s impacted your enjoyment mate, I’ve watched pretty much every game so far & it’s starting to heat up nicely
Throw in some of the decisions, I’d then call it the ‘Entertainment World Cup’, which maybe why you are enjoying it.

You’ve watched highlights of Belgium but none of Morocco, Japan, Mexico and are saying it’s a shit World Cup based on that?Over hyped bullshit of a competition , used to love the World Cups of old 60's 70's 80's 90's , but like every current UEFA / FIFA tournament its all about the superstars and the glamour the football is secondary , the fact that a 38 year old arse hole like Fakeronaldo is still relevant only confirms the bullshittery.
Only watched the England games and a few highlights of games involving our players like Spain , Portugal , Gemrnay Belgium , the rest of it , i wouldnt cross the road to watch.
The fact it is in Qatar and palms that have been greased to be able to play the tournament in ridiculous temperatures alongside strict religious laws of the country is the mian reason for my cynicism , Blatter and his mates made a killing and filled their bank accounts and Qatar were only too happy to oblige, FiFA & UEFA are simply corrupt organisations.

Japan have been brilliant. So far they’re the team of the tournament!
Thought '82 & '86 were both outstanding, can't remember any better since.Most of the 80s and 90s word cups were dire.

Nice one! Enjoy the rest of your jolly.£60 which wouldn't last long on alcohol over here. While you're here worth getting other games in. On way to Canada v morroco now my 11th game. South Korea v Ghana was less uncomfortable than a nail in my shoe.
