Vladimir PutinLol. Ok, maybe I’m too thick to know who isn’t welcome in Qatar, so care to explain who isn’t welcome or are you going to continue with vague insinuations?

Thanks! I'm inside the Met so should be good.Funny that you ask: sitting in my club house on Wednesday night two guys, both going to the show made a $100 bet on whether or not he would show up. I hope he does for your sake. If he doesn't, tonight is our club's Christmas party. You're welcome to come and join us for a marathon session that will probably continue well past the start of the England match tomorrow. Riverfront Mummers Club

Ask for deegee, chances are I'll be behind the bar watching replays of City matches on one of the TV's.
Enjoy yourself, safe travels. Thanks! I'm inside the Met so should be good.
I'm on the 12.09am train to Boston so will watch the game there
Not a chance he would take it , was he not forced out of his first job partially due to racial issues?Anyone else reckon Vinny will be approached for the Belgium job?
It’s pretty rare in football that all the (big) favourites progress in straight knockouts.I have a hunch that Poland will beat France tomorrow, and if they do I am confident England will reach the final.
Agree. England the only unbeaten team and could easily have lost against the US.It’s pretty rare in football that all the (big) favourites progress in straight knockouts.
Holland and Argentina navigated their games well, but I’d bet that at least one of these teams goes out:
England
France
Brazil
Spain
Portugal
This competition is only going to get interesting at the quarter final stages isn’t it? Those last 7 matches might be worth watching properly (discounting the 3rd place game).
So far there’s been one off upsets in the groups yes, but not really anything, Germany aside, that could be classed as a proper shock.
If we end up with:
Holland Argentina
England France
Croatia Brazil
Portugal Spain
for example as the four quarters then they should all be more competitive than these R16 games, where I can foresee zero upsets happening.
Yes that’s a fair pov pal. I think the bar for me is so much higher to be sitting down and spending 2 hours watching a game properly when it’s not City. I’ve said before, I’m a City supporter not really a football fan in general anymore, so it’s only the latter stages of a World Cup where I’d ever consider planning to watch a non-City match. There were some cracking games in the last round of the group stages to be fair. A game doesn't have to be an upset to be enjoyable, imo. Plenty of drama and emotion and scope for some good games in the R16. No shocks? Let's wait until after tonight to say that :)
As long as Walker's fit.i think if we play walker in a back 4 against france we can keep mbappe quiet and win
