2022 World Cup Discussion

In what context?

The standard of football is shocking, the attitude of the major players shocking.

Shocks, stadiums, organization superb but in football terms it's a sh1t fest.

I don't know. Agreed it's all very Brentford vs Crystal Palace, rather than City vs Madrid, but you can have entertaining sports events between matched teams without it being the best quality. The tournament has been good, if you ask me, from what I have seen of it. And the people there seem to be enjoying it, which is important as well.

Agreed, the two games today were yawn fests.

As the stakes get higher the fear of failure grips and it becomes stale. England might prosper purely because France go for it and we counter. However, the 99th minute equaliser was pretty exciting as was Croatia's ET come back. The ref destroyed the Argentina game though, he's a fucking prick that Spanish fella.

Hope LVG is kissing each and every member id dutch side. He loves kissing and giving stupid dumb statements. He has too much for it now

American journalist who was detained in Qatar for wearing a rainbow shirt is dead. His brother is saying he was murdered...
He’s been feeling unwell for a week. I would assume his brother is just very upset but incorrect.

The shock results
The twists and turns
The passion (Japan/Argentina/Morocco)
The handbags (argies and the Dutch last night)
The stars - Messi, Modric, Mbappe, Ronaldo
Referees allowing so much more go, VAR working exceptionally well (so far)
England looking great (so far)
