If you look on the official England tour websites most of the packages have been sold out for months so there's definitely going to be a few thousand England fans going. Don't forget there's thousands of ex-pats living in the middle east so I would imagine a lot of them would be going.Does anyone know of anyone actually going to this world cup? If so in what capacity? As an actual "Joe Public" supporter,or on a corporate jolly?

That being said, people will get involved and will get carried away after it kicks off, there will be the usual anti-English bile thrown about when the waistcoat gets England through to the semis before they get knocked out by a 2nd rate unfancied team.
