Most of em won't even admit to watching any of it.It's odd how many are downplaying this WC and how great it was - probably were, like myself rightly against it being held at Qatar and don't want to admit how good it turned out
Being plaudited as the best final ever when in fact for 75 mins it was a one sided bore
Absolutely brilliant.
Easy to forget that extraordinary Argentina v Saudi match at the start when the Saudis won with the best 10 minute spell of pressure you'll ever see then somehow held on.It's odd how many are downplaying this WC and how great it was - probably were, like myself rightly against it being held at Qatar and don't want to admit how good it turned out
Young lad from Stockport has got one. Phil something I think. Is that the first MCFC player to get a World Cup winners medal?
I was and am very against the Qatar involvement. FIFA is courpt. This whole tournament was a celebration of corruption. Most of em won't even admit to watching any of it.
Messi now only has one thing to prove to confirm him as the greatest ever.
Can he do it on a rainy night away at Stoke.
Accepting Qatar staged a well organised tournament with some entertaining games and a few shocks is not incompatible with with believing the decision to hold it in Qatar was as bent as a nine Bob note. It's odd how many are downplaying this WC and how great it was - probably were, like myself rightly against it being held at Qatar and don't want to admit how good it turned out.
And those 520 BBC people were all wracked with guilt about working in such a place as Qatar. They musy have had so many sleepless nights in their luxury hotels (built by migrants). Total hypocrites.Watching that, interesting to see the BBC needed over 520 people to cover the World Cup in one form or another.
