I didn't realise Phil Salt was a City fan...which is probably old news to a lot of people! Windies just about scraped through yesterday, going to be a long tournament and then you'd expect we get 7 of the 8 teams you'd expect fighting it out in the knockouts.

Cricket needs to boost its global status so can't argue with it too much.

It's a fine looking stadium, considering it's catering for what must be a tiny demographic. It'd put quite a few county grounds in England to shame. That being said, the New York metropolitan area has the largest Indian population outside of Asia. Maybe they've got some form of league in place? People from different cities "back home"?

The pitch was especially imported from Adelaide, Australia for this event. I think all they've used it for so far is a warm-up match.

I hope he stayed away from social media the next day. It was vicious on there, nearly all from Pakistanis. Accusations of nepotism, that he's only in the side because of who his father is (Moin Khan).
